The “Improve Digital Competency in Education” project is a transformative initiative aimed at elevating digital skills across Cambodia’s education sector. By reaching over 64,000 participants, this project is fostering a digitally literate generation. Our role as communication consultants was pivotal in developing and executing a communication strategy that amplified the project’s impact and ensured its influence was felt across communities.

The project’s primary goal was to improve digital competency within the Cambodian education system. Our communication strategy was designed to:

Our Approach

  1. Strategy Development:
    • Collaborated with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYs), private sector partners, ChildFund Cambodia, and other stakeholders to craft a comprehensive communication plan.
    • Defined key messages and tailored them for different audiences, ensuring alignment with the project’s goals.
  2. Media Relations:
    • Engaged with local and national media to secure coverage and feature stories about the project.
    • Coordinated press releases, media briefings, and interviews to enhance visibility and reach.
  3. Community Engagement:
    • Organized community events and workshops to raise awareness and engage local populations.
    • Developed educational materials and resources to support community involvement and foster local support.
  4. Digital Campaigns:
    • Launched digital campaigns across social media platforms to reach a broader audience.
    • Created compelling content, including infographics, videos, and success stories, to showcase the project’s achievements and impact.
  5. Content Creation:
    • Produced various content pieces, including newsletters, reports, and promotional materials, to effectively communicate the project’s progress and outcomes.
    • Highlighted the experiences of participants and the benefits of enhanced digital skills through impactful storytelling.

  • Increased Awareness: The communication strategy significantly raised awareness about the project’s goals and achievements, reaching a wide audience across Cambodia.
